Ravishankar Maharaj (1892-1985) Ravishankar Maharaj, who founded and inaugurated the state of Gujarat, was born in Radh village in Kheda district. His hometown was Saraswani. He served the people till the end of his life. His life was very simple. Hence he was called 'Mooksevak' Maharaj. He also played an active role in the freedom struggle. With Vinobaji he joined the Bhudan activity. Thakkarbapa (1869-1951) Amrutlal Thakkar, a native of Bhavnagar, became a social worker after becoming an engineer.
He was the father of Harijan upliftment activity in Maharashtra. He worked hard for the upliftment of the tribes. He founded the Adijati Seva Sangh, which went on to become a large organization. He served as the lifelong general secretary of the Region Sevak Sangh. Established 'Bhil Seva Mandal' in Panchmahal. Kasturba (1869-1944) Dedicating her flame to her husband's Jyoti, Kasturba was the symbol of the Eternal Woman of the Year of India. After becoming the wife of Mahatma Gandhi, Kasturba, who lived in Bapu's footsteps, accompanied Bapu with complete patience. Like a soldier they lived on the cliffs.
He left Gandhiji's feet at the Aga Khan Palace in Poona on February 22, 1944 while in jail. Shri Mota (1898-1976) Born in Savli, Vadodara, Asharam Bhavsar is a saint, but also a saint for social upliftment. He neither wore saffron nor left home but continued to work for the welfare of human beings. Participated in the freedom movement. He worked till the end of his life to make the individual and the society mentally and physically healthy. He established Hariom Ashram at Nadiad.

Sanchi's Stupa (Madhya Pradesh) Stupa is a semi-oval masonry on which the relics of Lord Buddha (teeth, hair, bones and bha) are placed in an iron pan. The stupa was built immediately after the death of Gautama Buddha. Its original purpose was to preserve bones. The stupa became a ubiquitous symbol of Buddhism. The great Ashoka grabbed the original stupa and rebuilt it.
The Stupa of Sanchi is a specimen of the Mauryan period. In the time of Ashoka, stones were laid on a brick stupa about two centuries later and the stupa was almost doubled in size. Sarnath (Uttar Pradesh) Sarnath is an ancient pilgrimage site of Buddhism. Sarnath has inscriptions made by Emperor Ashoka and famous pillars. The inscription and the stupa have been renovated.
The national seal of our country, the national seal, the Ashoka Chakra in the national flag has been accepted from here. The magnificent old style Buddhist temple is worth a visit.
--- Sun Temple of Konark (Odisha) The Sun Temple of Konark is located in Orissa. In the 13th century, the Varman rulers built this Vedic architecture in the Sun Temple of Konark. The Sun Temple of Konark is chariot shaped. There are as many wheels as there are huge bars. Exquisite sculpting is done on each wheel. This Sun Temple with seven horses and two guard lions with chariots is wonderful in the world.
Taj Mahal (Uttar Pradesh) The Taj Mahal in Agra is world famous. The Taj Mahal was built during the reign of the Mughal ruler Shah Jahan. The white marble building is unique in the world. Fatehpur Sikri Nagar near Agra was built by Akbar, in which Diwan - Khas and Diwan - thus, Moti Masjid, Akbar's tomb, Jahangir's palace etc. are some of the spectacular structures.
