Shihabuddin Ghori lost to Prithviraj in the battle of Tarai in 1191 AD. In the Second Battle of Tarai in 113, Shihabuddin Ghori won a decisive victory over Prithviraj Chauhan and laid the foundation of the Sultanate in Delhi.
Qutbuddin Aibak
Muhammad Ghori ceded the Indian territories under his control to his slave general Qutbuddin Aibak who belonged to the Mamluk dynasty.
Thus, Qutbuddin Abak founded the slave dynasty.
He died in 1210 after falling from a polo horse.
