Natural formation of Gujarat
• Fissure-eruptive activity in Gujarat during the Cretaceous period resulted in fiery lava erupting from the ground and covering about 30% of the land area of Gujarat. In later periods various landforms have been formed as a result of the active factors of erosion, erosion and deposition.
