Important (1) Gujarat Land Grabbing (Prohibition) Bill, 2020 (2) The Gujarat Hooligan and Anti-Social (Prevention) Bill, passed in the Gujarat Legislative Assembly. Other important bills, the information is as follows: EXAMS 1. (1) Gujarat Ganot Administration and Agricultural Land Act (Amendment) Bill, 2020 Shri Koshik Patel, Revenue Minister of Gujarat introduced this Bill in the Gujarat Legislative Assembly. The key provisions of the bill are as follows:

With this amendment bill, prior approval of the District Collector is not required for purchase of agricultural land in Gujarat for purposes such as agricultural university, animal husbandry, university, education, medical education or health. Instead, after purchasing such land, the district collector has to be informed within 1 month. Even land purchased for bonafide industrial purpose in Gujarat can now be sold to others by paying 25 to 100 per cent jantri amount. In case it is not possible to use the industrial purpose as per the provision of GDCR, permission will be given for the purpose of using the land as per the zone declared under the provision of GDCR. For this you have to pay 10% of the jantri amount. 2. 3.
