Special Day 30th December, 2020 *Dr. Vikram Ambalal Sarabhai: Born - August 12, 1919, Ahmedabad (Gujarat) Father - Ambalal Sarabhai Mother - Sarla Devi 0 Wife - Mrinalini Sarabhai (Bharat Natyam) 0 Son - Kartikeya Sarabhai 0 Daughter - Mallika Sarabhai 0 Death - 30 December 1971 Kovalam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala * Specialty: Janke of Indian Space Program. 0 Dr. Vikram Sarabhai conducted research on "Cosmic Ray Range" in Bangalore under the leadership of Nobel Laureate CV Raman. Dr. Vikrambhai came in contact with Dr. Homibhabha at Bangalore and there he got married to Mrinalini Sarabhai of Bharatnatyam dancer. Vikram Sarabhai is credited with taking India to the forefront of space. Vikrambhai worked in this field after the death of Dr. Homibhabha.

Vikram Sarabhai died in Kerala. In his honor, the electronic rocket launching station at Thiruvananthapuram and the space agencies associated with him were renamed as "Vikram Sarabhai Space Center".
